Her big day

Despite being the only weekend with lousy weather in California, Blythe had a fabulous blessing the day after New Years. We had a great turnout; Grant's family drove a meager THIRTY hours to be there! It was the first time Grandma + Grandpa Taylor + Aunt Jenny got to meet Blythe.
It was a very special occasion.
Here she is in all her glory, wearing the same blessing outfit I wore 29 years ago.

Man, we had some people come from all over. It made the day pretty perfect. Family came from Oklahoma, Hemet, and all over California. Friends showed up from Huntington Beach, Simi Valley, Agoura, etc. Here is the group, without the Blakes, who somehow excluded themselves from the photoshoot.

Grant gave a beautiful blessing to little Bitty, who was a happy, pleasant baby the whole day through. All in all a lovely day that will be a lovely memory.
